Animals
Transport in cabin
The following pets are allowed in the cabin: Dogs and cats with a maximum weight, incl. box, of 8 kgs. Animals must be transported in a water-tight soft box bag (max size 55 x 40 x 20 cm, with sufficient air supply (see example pictures), whereby the box, with the animal in it must remain stored under the seat during the entire journey. A reservation at your agency is necessary.
Particular attention should already be paid when purchasing a suitable transport container. Please consider that you are taking your pet out of its known surroundings and it could therefore feel stressed. Whenever possible, try to get your pet accustomed to its sky-kennel or soft-bag before travelling, so as to gradually prepare it for the new situation.
Transport in hold
Additional room is available for cats and dogs in a heated area in the hold. Animals must be transported in a hard-shelled box. Passengers are responsible for the rental or purchase of containers. Boxes can be obtained at the Swissport supervisor counter (terminal 2, row 3).:
