Non-stop flight Zurich-Orlando with Edelweiss Air

Edelweiss Air will operate one weekly non-stop flight from Zurich to Orlando (Florida). The flights will be operated every Saturday with Edelweiss Air’s Airbus A330-200.

Zürich-Airport, 18th of February 2011

The brand new A330-300 landed in Zurich on Friday, February 18., 2011. The youngest and largest aircraft in Edelweiss Air's fleet was picked up in Toulouse and flown to Zurich-Kloten by our CEO Mr. Karl Kistler and our Head of Engineering and Maintenance Mr. Lorenz Thöni.

New non-stop Zurich-Beijing service with Edelweiss Air and SWISS

Edelweiss Air will offer a weekly non-stop service between Zurich and Beijing from 7 July to 14 October 2011 in partnership with Swiss International Air Lines. These flights will be operated with an Edelweiss Air Airbus A330-200.

The scheduled departure from Zurich is pn thursdays. The return flight from Beijing will depart Friday morning and arrives in Zurich at mid-day. The flights remain subject to acquisition of the required traffic rights.

Edelweiss Air with a direct flight from Zurich to Beirut

EEdelweiss Air’s summer 2011 flight schedule includes a further attractive destination. Starting from June 2011, Edelweiss Air will offer direct flights from Zurich to Beirut for the first time. These flights are in code share with SWISS. From June 10 until October 31, 2011, night-flights will be operated to the Lebanese metropolis on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The flight connection Zurich–Beirut–Zurich can be combined with the entire SWISS route network. This new flight range caters to both ethnic and tourist travel in Switzerland, in Europe and overseas.

Edelweiss Air reaches new heights

Edelweiss Air carried a total of 703 000 passengers in 2009, some 25% more than in the prior-year period. In a tough economic and business environment, the airline’s encouraging traffic performance is a testament to its partnership with SWISS and its ability to offer a quality product that is carefully tailored to leisure travellers’ needs.
