	How can I book a flight with Edelweiss?	Right here on our website
	How can I book a one-way route only or a triangle flight?	Do not hesitate to send your request via e-mail to commercial@edelweissair.ch. We will be glad to submit you an offer.
	How many days in advance can I book a flight with Edelweiss?	Flights are bookable 320 days in advance.
	Can Edelweiss make any booking alterations?	Only if the flight was booked on edelweissair.ch, otherwise contact the agency that made the original booking.

	Information
	Where can I find out about Edelweiss arrival and departure times?	On our website Departure/Arrival, or by calling +41 43 816 50 60.
	Does Edelweiss give out any passenger information?	No information about passenger and crew members is given out.

	Safety
	Can mobile phones be used during a flight?	No, mobile phones must be switched off throughout a flight.
	Can laptops be used during a flight?	Laptops may be used during a flight, however, not during take-off and landing. The cabin crew must be contacted prior to use.
	Can a radio be switched on during a flight?	No, radios may not be used during a flight.
	Can a CD-/MP3-Player be used during a flight?	Yes, you can use CD-/MP3-player during a flight, but not during take-off and landing.
	Can I take alcohol into the aircraft?	The consumption of self-brought alcohol within the aircraft is prohibited.
	Is smoking permitted on board Edelweiss?	All Edelweiss flights are non-smoking-flights.

	Health
	Can I take a syringe into the aircraft for medical reasons?	Yes,but you need a medical certificate.
	What do pregnant women need to know?	Up to the 36th week, pregnant women are allowed to fly without a medical certificate.
	Where can passangers with a wheelchair sit?	A320: seats 2-10D und 14-36D A330-200: seats 1-5 BDGJ und 24/25/30/31 J A330-300: seats 1-6BDGJ und 8-37 BDGJ, 38/39DG

	Luggage
	How much luggage may I checked-in?	Economy Class: 1x max. 23kg (exception Beirut, Kilimanjaro/Mombase 2x max. 23kg), Business Class 2x max. 32kg.
	How heavy may my hand luggage be?	maximum 8kg
	How large may my hand luggage be?	maximum 55x40x23cm
	How much does it cost to transport diving equipment?	Diving equipment costs on short- and medium haul flight CHF 60 per leg. On longhaul flights diving equipment will be transported free of charge within the free luggage allowance.
	What do I need to do if I want to bring a bicycle with me?	Bicycles can be checked-in regularly (well packed to avoid any damage). The charges you find here: sporting equipment.
	Does Edelweiss transport just freight?	Freight can be registered with SWISS WorldCargo, Tel. +41 848 80 2000.
	What do I do if my luggage arrives late?	Contact the lost and found counter in Zurich or at your destination to fill in a PIR.
	What is a PIR?	A PIR is a Passenger Irregularity Report.
	What do I need to do if my luggage gets damaged?	Register the damage at the the lost and found counter in Zürich or at your destination and fill in a Passenger Irregularity Report (PIR).
	What do I do if something gets stolen from my suitcase?	Take out a baggage insurance. Edelweiss does not bear any liability for stolen luggage.
	Flowers from Madeira	On flights from Funchal (Madeira) to Switzerland each passenger is allowed to carry a box of flowers as checked baggage free of charge.

	Animals
	Can I take my dog into the aircraft?	Yes, animals (max. 8kg) are allowed in the passenger cabin, a reservation required. You can find details here.
	Are animals given something to drink during the flight?	Unfortunately, animals cannot be given any food or drink, given that they travel in the luggage hold (which is lit and heated).
	What are the sizes and prices of dog transportation kennels?	Small, 57x37x36cm, CHF 86.- Medium, 71x50x51, CHF 136.- Intermediate, 82x57x60cm, CHF 224.- Large, 93x65x68cm, CHF 256.- Extralarge, 105x75x79cm, CHF 328.- Softbag (for cabin use only) 48x28x28cm, CHF 64.-
	Where at Edelweiss can dog transportation kennels be rented?	Edelweiss does not rent out any dog transportation kennels.
	Where can dog transportation kennels be purchased?	At Swissport, Zurich-Airport, Tel. +41 43 812 51 15, or in a good pet shop.

	Prior to Departure
	Can I check-in the evening before my flight?	Yes, you can check in 23 hours prior to departure. At Zurich Airport in Check-in 3, in Geneva at any Swissport counter. More Information
	Is it possible to check-in for Edelweiss flights at an SBB counter (Swiss train station)?	Yes, check-in is possible at many Swiss train stations. Details you find here.
	When do I have to be at the airport, at the very latest?	90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Boarding starts 30 minutes prior to departure. If you have checked in early, you should be at the airport (passport control) no later than 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
	Is there a flight service for unaccompanied children?	If a child (5 - 12 years) is travelling on his/her own, accompaniment (to the gate and at the flight destination up to customs) can be arranged. This service can be ordered on our website or at your travel agency.

	Can I use the airport lounge if I have an Edelweiss business class ticket?	For travel since 1 November 2011, all Edelweiss Business Class passengers can use the Business Class Lounge in Zurich and at all long-haul destinations (exception: Varadero and Kilimanjaro). 	What do I need to know when travelling with a baby?	Baby baskets are available for babies up to the age of 8 months (maximum 70cm/11kg). Book the baby basket when booking your flight on edelweissiar.ch or at your travel agency.
	Where can a baby basket be installed?	A330-200: 1 A/D/K in Business Class and 7 D/K/F and 28 D/E in Economy Class. A330-300: 1 A/D/K in Business Class and 7D/F and 28DF in Economy Class. A320: 1 A/F, Business Class only. Further information on travelling with babies are available here.

	Where are seats with more leg room located?	In the emergency exit rows
	Are there seat rows without windows?	No.
	Where can Edelweiss Logo Items be purchased?	Either during flight or on our website.

	After your journey
	How much time do I need to calculate between landing in Zurich and connections to public transport?	You need to calculate up to 90 minutes between landing and public transport connections.

	Miles & More
	Is Edelweiss a Star Alliance member?	Since November 2008, Edelweiss is an integrated member in the Lufthansa-Group and an affiliate of Swiss International Air Lines. However, Edelweiss is not a Star Alliance member.
	Can I earn Miles and More miles with my Edelweiss flight?	Miles and More is the SWISS frequent flyer programme. Edelweiss passengers who have booked their flight in code share with SWISS qualify to earn "Miles & More" premium miles. A requirement is a LX ticket with a ticket number beginning with "724". 	Golf Traveller
	Is my SWISS Golf Traveller Card also valid on my Edelweiss flight?	If you are a member of the Golf Traveller Club, you can take your golf equipment with you (max 23kg) free of charge on the entire Edelweiss route network.

	Cumulus coupons
	Is the Cumulus coupons also valid for services other than flight bookings?	No, the coupon can only be used towards payment of flight bookings.
	Can I redeem the Cumulus coupon retroactively?	The term of this special offer is limited and valid only for new bookings starting from 1st November, 2012.
	Are the Cumulus coupons transferbale?	Yes, a converted Cumulus coupon will not be verified against the name and is thus transferbale.
	How long is the Cumulus coupon valid for?	The Cumulus coupon is valid for 1 year starting from the date of redemption. It expires after one year and is non-refundable.
	Can several converted Cumulus coupons be redeemed for payment?	Only one converted Cumulus coupon may be redeemed per person. The minimum purchase price is CHF 999 in economy class and CHF 1999 in business class. In the event of a booking involving several passengers one Cumulus coupon per person may be used towards payment, provided the condition of minimum purchase price is met.
	Must both routes be flown in business class to be able to redeem the Cumulus coupon worth CHF 300?	Yes, the booking of a round trip in business class is required.
	Which Edelweiss flights are Cumulus coupons redeemable on?	On long-haul flights of Edelweiss from the 2012/13 timetable (starting from a ticket price of CHF 999).
	Can I redeem an Edelweiss voucher together with a Cumulus coupon?	Yes, you can redeem one Cumulus coupon and any number of Edelweiss vouchers for one booking.
	Where can I convert my Cumulus coupon into an Edelweiss voucher?	Cumulus coupons can be converted into Edelweiss vouchers on the Migros website (German)
	How can I reach Cumulus if I am unable to convert the coupon?	If you have any problem, please contact the Cumulus Infoline Phone calls from Switzerland: 0848 85 0848* Pohne calls from abroad: +41 44 444 88 44* *Monday until Friday, 8.00 - 19.00 (8 Rp./min) Saturdays, 8.00 - 16.00 (4 Rp./Min.)

If something does not seem to be working Check the same functionality on another computer/Tablet or Smartphone. In some cases an anti-virus application that is configured too restrictively can cause interferences, or also a personal firewall. This will allow you to isolate the problem to one computer.

Should the problem continue, please e-mail us a screenshot to webmaster@flyedelweiss.com with information about the used browser, browser version and possibly also about the used operating system (plus version). Please also describe the problem in 1-2 sentences.

We will look into the matter and provide you with a suggested approach to solve the problem.
