Baggage allowance
The baggage rules for Edelweiss flights have been revised and simplified and are valid since November 1st 2011.
The piece concept applies on all flights worldwide. The number of baggage items per person included depend on the booking class. Please note that the free baggage allowance applies per passenger. It cannot be accumulated for more passengers travelling together.

On all flights from Funchal (Madeira) to Switzerland, passengers can check up to one (1) box of flowers per person for free.

Excess baggage
General rates apply for baggage taken in addition to the baggage allowance. The rates are to be paid in local currency at the airport before departure or in CHF if you buy it online.
